Accessibility Statement
Accessibility approach for The Dolphin Wellington website, including keyboard use, contrast, reduced motion and ongoing improvement.
Last reviewed: 10 August 2026
Our aim
The website is designed to support a wide range of visitors, including people using keyboards, screen readers, zoom, reduced-motion preferences and smaller mobile screens.
Implemented measures
The build uses semantic landmarks, a skip link, visible interactive controls, text alternatives for meaningful images, labelled form fields, keyboard-operable menus, responsive layouts and CSS support for prefers-reduced-motion.
Known limitations
The site uses food photography for atmosphere and editorial context; alt text is concise rather than attempting to reproduce every visual detail. The e-mail reservation workflow depends on the visitor having a configured mail application. A future booking platform should be assessed separately for accessibility.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, contact hello@thedolphinwellington.co.uk with the page, device or assistive technology involved and a description of the issue. The site owner should investigate practical fixes and publish updates where appropriate.
